Watermelon Freeze Vape: The Coldest Fruit Flavour in the Range

How it tastes

Watermelon carries the first half of each draw: ripe, juicy and recognisable as watermelon, not as the pink-candy version some vapes offer. Then the menthol arrives on the exhale, heavier than in most ice flavours, and turns the finish properly cold.

The balance matters. Menthol that overwhelms the fruit turns a watermelon vape into a mint vape with a pink tint. Here, the watermelon stays in front, and the freeze comes after it. The 1.2Ω mesh coil keeps the fruit juicy through the device instead of thinning into sugar-water, which is where many watermelon vapes fall apart after the first third.

The ice family ranked by chill

Flavour	Cooling level	Fruit in front?
Glacier Mint	Strongest	No, pure mint
Watermelon Freeze	Strong	Yes, watermelon
Blackcurrant Ice	Moderate to strong	Yes, tart berry
Red Apple Ice	Moderate	Yes, crisp apple
Banana Ice	Moderate	Yes, creamy banana

If you want maximum chill with fruit, Watermelon Freeze is the answer. For a full ranking of the ice family, our guide on the best ice and menthol flavours is the place to start, and Glacier Mint vs Watermelon Freeze compares the two coldest options directly.

Why people choose it for summer

The UAE summer is the case for a flavour like this. When temperatures pass 40 degrees and humidity rises, a cold sensation that registers immediately is genuinely welcome. Menthol doesn't lower your temperature, but it activates the cold receptors in your mouth and throat, and the result feels like relief. Watermelon adds the juicy, thirst-quenching association that makes the cold feel natural instead of clinical. That combination is why it's the flavour most often associated with hot weather in the range. For more, see best ice flavours for a Dubai summer and building a summer rotation.

Why watermelon and menthol work together

Watermelon is watery, light and faintly sweet, and menthol is a sensation that feels cold and clean. The combination echoes something familiar: a chilled slice of watermelon on a hot day. There's no sharp contrast to adjust to, because both elements share the same character, which is "refreshing". That's why a watermelon ice vape feels more natural than, say, a creamy ice flavour, where cold and cream pull in different directions. The pairing also explains why Watermelon Freeze is widely seen as the safe choice for people who want a cold flavour but aren't ready for pure mint.

What to expect from the first box

On day one the cold will probably feel stronger than you expect, because your palate hasn't adjusted. By day three, the menthol settles into the background and the watermelon becomes easier to notice. After a week, you'll have a clear sense of whether you want to keep it as your hot-weather flavour or save it for particular moments. If it starts to feel too cold, alternate it with a gentler flavour, and if it starts to feel too mild, move toward Glacier Mint. Our flavour rotation guide explains the pattern.

Watermelon Freeze vs Watermelon Bull

The two watermelon flavours do opposite things. Freeze is cold. Watermelon Bull is punchy, with an energy-drink-style tang and no cooling. If you're choosing between them, ask whether you want cold or edgy. Our Watermelon Freeze vs Watermelon Bull guide lays out the full comparison.

Who it suits

It suits people who want a refreshing fruit flavour with real cooling, people who spend a lot of time outside or in a car, and people who like menthol but don't want pure mint. It's a good choice if you work in heat, if you're travelling between air-conditioned spaces and the street, or if you simply like cold flavours.

Who might want something else

If you spend most of your day in strong air conditioning, the freeze effect can feel excessive. If you dislike menthol, it's the wrong flavour. And if you're sensitive to cold sensations in your throat, a gentler ice flavour such as Banana Ice or Red Apple Ice is a better match.

Looking after it

Menthol is volatile, and heat shortens how long it lasts at full strength. Keep the device out of direct sun and out of the car's dashboard. If the cooling seems weaker after a few days in the heat, that's usually why. Our storage guide has more.
